Locums - Montgomery, Alabama, OB Hospitalist Opening

  • Dates needed: ASAP 3-5 SPM
  • Practice setting- Hospital
  • Shift Schedule details and duration 24hr shifts
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Credentialing Time frame - 60-90 days Are temps available: Yes
  • MUST have an Active AL License
  • Reason for coverage: open shifts
  • Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: only for emergent cases
  • Hospitalists not Required to Perform Circumcisions
  • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No - usually provided by midwives, residents or a group
  • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (surgical techs)
  • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: TBD (CNM's are in local private practice)
  • Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
  • Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
  • NICU Level: III
  • Total Hospital Deliveries (annually.): 3,696
  • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (annually): 300
  • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 541
