- The Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the
smooth operation of machinery and equipment within the industrial
environment. Responsible for planning and scheduling preventative
maintenance tasks, adhering to Pratt Whitney Procedure MCO 5.2.5.3
guidelines; this role requires proficiency in SAP system, Microsoft
Office applications, and effective communication with production
teams to optimize machinery uptime and minimize downtime.
- Monday - Thursday; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Plan and Schedule Maintenance Activities: Develop comprehensive
maintenance plans and schedules for machinery and equipment based
on Pratt Whitney Procedure MCO 5.2.5.3 guidelines and industry best
practices.
- Establish Daily Walk Arounds: Collaborate with production teams
to establish and conduct daily walkarounds for production areas,
identifying maintenance needs and addressing issues promptly.
- Coordinate Scheduled Downtime: Work closely with production
teams to establish and coordinate scheduled downtime for machinery
and equipment maintenance, minimizing disruption to production
schedules.
- Prioritize Maintenance Tasks: Understand the priority of
machines and equipment based on operational needs and production
schedules, ensuring critical maintenance tasks are addressed
promptly.
- Equipment Inspection and Assessment: Regularly inspect
machinery and equipment to identify potential issues, assess
performance, and determine maintenance needs.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for equipment
failures and breakdowns to identify underlying issues and implement
corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Qualifications You Must
Have -
- HS Diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are
authorized to access information under this
program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer
- Proven experience as a maintenance planner or similar role in
an industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning principles, PM
frequencies, and scheduling methodologies.What We Offer
